Adam Roberts, R.D.E, holds the degrees of Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory summa cum laude from Youngstown State University and Associate of Arts with honors from Kent State University, and is currently pursuing the Master of Music degree in Music Theory and the Early Music and College Teaching Certificates at the Florida State University. He has served as choreographer for more than twenty-five theatrical productions, having been involved either as artistic staff or performer for a total of over fifty productions to date. He served as choreographer for the 2003 Sound of America European Concert Tour, with his choreography being performed in venues ranging from the Medieval town of Rothenburg to the stage of Disneyland Paris. |

He has served on the dance faculties of the Kinsey School of Dance and Boardman Dance Institute of Ohio and Act One Theatre School of Pittsburgh. His past dance research has focused on constructivist pedagogical approaches in teaching new choreographers. As a musician, Roberts has served as musical director at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Ohio, and Calvary United Methodist Church, Tallahassee. He has also served as musical director and pit musician for numerous theatrical productions, and has served as part-time faculty in music at Youngstown State University. He currently teaches in the sight-singing/ear training curriculum at the Florida State University, with plans to graduate in April 2005. |
