Heidi Glankler-LuMaye is the Artistic Director of the Vacaville Ballet Theatre. As such she is also the director of Division II of the academy. The academy is the training portion of the Ballet, which serves as the foundation for the non-profit 501©3 company. She and Cheri Glankler co-founded the ballet in 1993. Their purpose was to offer quality and professional training to the youth within the community while allowing students to pursue their future within education and the arts without giving up their present childhood. Ms. LyMaye trained through the professional division of San Francisco Ballet on a merit scholarship. She was trained in all the different styles, but focusing in the Russian/Vaganova style. She also trained with Pacific Northwest, Marin Ballet, National Ballet of Canada an the Winnipeg Ballet. |
