Audrey (Wetterwald) Dascomb, R.D.E., is the Director of Dance Expressions Unlimited, a dance education facility in the private sector in Massachusetts. She holds a BFA Degree in Dance and Arts Management from Lake Erie College and has Teacher Certification K-12. She has been with the Registry of National Dance Educators since its inception. |

Dascomb has published her own syllabi for dance educators in the private sector: her Creative Movement Curriculum, a weekly comprehensive syllabus centering on the elements of dance, is based on extensive research and experience with the youngest dance students with easy adaptations for older students; her Dance Lessons Made Easy curriculum offers weekly dance lessons for teaching students ballet, tap, and jazz at the earliest levels - preschool through first grade. Both syllabi are designed to train and educate future and current dance teachers. Dascomb belongs to many dance organizations including NDEO, AAHPERD, ITDN, and ITA. She currently teaches dance for all ages and levels in the genres of ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, and creative movement. Dascomb looks forward to publishing more materials for dance educators to unify dance in the private sector. |
