Denise Tellier Cook, R.D.E. is a Specialist in Early Childhood Dance Education. After a childhood of climbing trees and skating, she found herself at Shirley Ubell's Center of Modern Dance. She continued her studies at the Merce Cunningham Studio in N.Y.C. and in Washington.

Her love of Mime brought her to Ontario and Colorado. Her first Dance Education assignment was in 1972, and in 1983 it became a full-time passion. Denise has been teaching elementary school teachers and dance teachers through several venues including the National Dance Education Organization and Dance Teachers' Conference.
 

Denise has been incorporating the Early Childhood Standards of Dance Education at the Blue Ridge Montessori School in Forest, Virginia, since January of 2005 and currently, as a Lead teacher of the Early Learners Program and 'Music & Movement' specialist for the Primary program.
