Patricia G. Cohen, M.A., R.D.E., is a faculty member of the Dance Program at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Education and of the Fine and Performing Arts Department at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. Her Masters degree in Dance Education is from Teachers College, Columbia University, where she taught modern and jazz dance.
 

She was a contributing writer and co-editor with Elsa Posey of a special topics issue of the Journal of Dance Education (the peer review journal of the National Dance Education Organization) devoted to dance in the private sector. She edits the Private Studio Feature Presentations column for that journal. She is Secretary of UNITY, an organization comprised of cross-sector member organizations, and education consultant to Lifestyle Venture’s Summer Dance Teacher Conferences. Pat is NDEO’s liaison to its partner, the National Registry of Dance Educators.
