Kim Caffrey is the director and owner of Early St. Studios in Santa Fe, New Mexico, which she has run successfully for more than twenty years. Early St. Studios brings quality dance to the community teaching ballet and creative dance to ages four through adults. Ms. Caffrey has trained several professional dancers performing with national dance companies; many of her former students are educators teaching dance in public education, universities and private dance schools. A student of Balanchine, Graham and Ailey’s teachers, Ms. Caffrey advocates creative dance for children under the age of seven. She currently teaches creative dance to first and second grade students in Santa Fe’s public schools as part of their “Arts in Education” program. She continues to teach at universities and colleges implementing new programs in dance for all students. |
