Lori Borrowman, Director and Founder of the Creative Classics Dance Centre and the Capital District Dance Company, Ltd. has studied locally under Marilyn Ramsey and in Europe under Solange Golovine and Nina Vryoubova of Paris France. She has danced with the Professional Dance Company of the Nationale Opera de Paris and the National Association of Regional Ballet. She has received her diploma from the State Byelorussian Choreographic School in Minsk, Russia, where she studied with Clara Nicholaevna-Malischeva. She also studied at the Minsk Choreographic School and with ballet artists at the Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Opera and Ballet. |

Lori is a member of Dance Alliance and the National Dance Association, and is a nationally Registered Dance Educator. In 1988 she was voted Woman of the Year, and recently she has returned to the Paris Opera Ballet, England, and to Southeast Asia to continue her teaching and education. Lori is also a certified New York State School Teacher and Art Teacher for K-12. |
