Members of the National Registry of Dance Educators are recognized by their colleagues and the community for their outstanding accomplishments and continued professional practice. They enjoy the benefits of membership including access to updated resources and information, and exchange information with other professional members. An attractive certificate is available for them to display in their place of business, and they have the right to use the logo of the NRDE on their advertisements, stationery, brochures, displays, web pages and literature. They may use the initials “N.R.D.E.” after their names, if they choose to do so. Registered Dance Educators are part of a network of colleagues who are willing to share their expertise and support each other’s work and enjoy access to immediate assistance and expertise to overcome professional challenges. They receive support from the national office through letters of referral. They are requested to join national advocacy networks promoting dance education to the public. Their individual web sites are linked through the NRDE website and they have access to a member’s only information exchange on the internet. Registered Dance Educators receive varied discounts in purchase of services, goods and merchandise commonly used by dance educators in their profession that are offered from time to time as available. | ||||||

Registered Dance Educators may be eligible to receive prorated reduction in the cost of insurance including general liability, professional liability, health, property, crime, business income protection and other coverage suited to their individual needs. The National Registry of Dance Educators stands by its members, testifying that they have met established and current professional criteria in their practice. | ||
