Sandra Little Barnett is director and owner of the Little Dance Studio in Erie, PA. She began dancing with her mother, founder of the studio, at the age of 3. She continued her studies in New York with such distinguished teachers as Luigi, Matt Mattox, Frank Hatchett, Charles Weidman, Alonso Castro, Marth Graham and Thalia Mara. In 1991 She directed and produced a teachers video -"JAZZ KIDS - A FUN DANCE CLASS". |

Sandra has taught for the National Association of Dance and Affiliated Artists in New York, Buffalo, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and New Orleans. In 1972 she founded the Little Dance Studio Concert Group which later developed into "Jazz Kids Dance Company", now in it's 29th year. She has taken her Creative Childrens Group to perform in New York and tour Erie Elementary Schools with her "Dancing Words" lecture/demonstration. The Little Dance Studio has classes for children, teens and adults. This year Sandra celebrates her 40th year of teaching. The Little Dance Studio is a non-competitive studio and is known in Erie as "A family studio". |
