Debra Danese holds degrees in both dance and arts administration. She serves as Director of Dance at Villa Maria Academy and has taught summer programs at prestigious private schools such as TASIS England and Cushing Academy. Debra has been featured in Dance, Dancer, Dance Studio Life and Dance Teacher magazines for her work in both the United States and abroad. She has also been published in Dance Teacher Magazine (February, 2010). In addition to her work as an educator, Debra has performed and choreographed world-wide including Europe, Canada, Japan, Norway, the UK and Caribbean. Debra also provides original, customized entertainment thru her company, Kdance Productions, at www.kdanceproductions.com. Debra has professional affiliations with National Dance Educators Organization, Dance USA, Laban Institute of Movement Studies and National Dance Week. She continues her professional development by attending annual conferences, workshops and ongoing technique classes. |
